A Transformational Spiritual Practice
Healing Pathway is a recognized United Church ministry of energy-based healing offered within a heart centred, inclusive community. It promotes self-care and assists in restoring wholeness, balance, and harmony at all levels of being – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually through grounding techniques, meditation, and a series of healing sequences. Healing is experienced individually for receivers when an intention is set, and there is a connection to the Divine. The foundation of the program lies in the tradition of healing within the Christian faith, but is open to people of all faiths and spiritual paths. If you have chronic pain, emotional stress, illness of any sort; if you are trying to cope with life transitions or deepen your spiritual connection, you may benefit from a Healing Pathway session. However, sessions may be beneficial even if you are not ill. Sessions are offered both in person (with appropriate infection controls) and by distance.
In-person Healing Pathway sessions are regularly scheduled in the Trinity Chapel from 1-3 pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month. Brief “soaking prayer” sessions (5 minutes of healing reflection and connection) are also offered each Sunday after service by request when a Healing Pathway practitioner is in attendance (look for the sign). Additional times and locations (e.g. at home, in hospital) may be scheduled for those in need who cannot attend the regular sessions.
